Networking Events in Nashville TN
24 04 2008Are you looking for a new way to meet local business people without having to join a club and obligate more of your time on a weekly basis? Well, that was me. As a business owner, our first responsibility is to our current customers but we also need to recruit and explore new business opportunities. If nothing else, we need to meet new people that might be able to help us.
Three years ago I found Strategic Business Network and I’ve been attending meetings ever since. Strategic Network is operated by Adam Small and he has developed his business into a very user friendly networking event. Adam sends out reminders (via email) about every week tell of the upcoming events. Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro and more are included. It’s simple. You just choose which ones you want to attend. The cost is minimal - usually $30-$35 which includes lunch. Where else can you meet 20-30 business people for $35.00? The event starts off with having lunch then you are divided up into tables of 2 where you have 5 minutes to exchange cards and get a basic knowledge of the other person’s business. You’re not there to sell! You are there to meet and follow up with your new acquaintances at a later date. Meeting new people is always healthy and you never know who might refer your services or products to a friend. Sign up for their Newsletter you won’t regret it.

Dan: This looks like a great organization, however, it seems to be confined to the central states. I can’t help but wonder if you or any of your readers have experience with starting this type of function within their geographic area. Jerry
